i have family that lives in montana and they seriously have meth billboards everywhere...its all because the weed sucks.

Okay, this ad is strange, but you have to wonder about the wording. Is it saying that meth turns you into a prostitute (obviously it implies that) or does it say that you could be charging more for sex, but because you're on meth you have to low ball the price to $15?

Interesting fact about Montana. I've spent 9 months up there (no relation to anyone's pregnancy) and have come to the conclusion that I'd rather live in the Oakland projects (my hometown) than deal with the Montana's version of the same... and I'm a white boy. I had the most bothersome neighbors I've ever experienced in my life, who went as far as to steal my electricity. Not to mention, I narrowly avoided a bar fight with a bunch of 6' tall locals for being allegedly gay, simply because I had on nice pants with a tucked shirt. I'd like to think I'm a tough little bastard, but I would have got creamed.

I've seen quite a few of those billboards myself with my own eyes...aren't they weird?

But honestly I've lived in the heart of a community where practically everyone was a pixie (a meth user), and meth is really really bad, these billboards are probably as realistic as it gets.

I've lost friendships because of meth and have had to stop talking to certain people altogether because of their using meth.

Man, San Francisco needs a few of those. Meth has become the big club drug in the gay community as of late and San Francisco is having a big problem with it. Talk about disturbing. I know these are freaky but they seem pretty effective. I mean, not for current meth addicts or even teenagers, but if I were a young kid I think I'd be scarred enough by those to reconsider meth before I did it.

I can't believe that these billboards can legally be put up. They remind me of people talking down to kids, assuming that they are stupid and naive. We get it. Meth is bad. Does anyone out there actually think a series of scary billboards will stop people from doing meth? No one with is going to get into a situation and say "Well I was going to try meth, but I saw that sign..." The money for the campaign would be much better spent trying to rehab people on meth and getting them out there in the communities talking to kids about their own experiences. Yes, it's hard to reform addicts, but I just feel that even one addict going around and educating kids would prevent many more from trying meth then some scary billboards.

We have a meth problem in Nebraska too but unfortunately we dont have that many creepy signs yet

Ya. I also live in Montana. To outsiders this looks horrible. But we got used to the ads here. But it HAS worked wonders. It scares the shit out of anyone who is thinking of trying it. Basically it's the point of the ads.
