Justin’s of Atlanta owned by P. Diddy, Sean Puffy Combs, or whatever the f*ck he calls himself these days scored abysmally during a health inspection. Whats worse, after they had the chance to fix it, they still received a B, and have been called out for not putting the health score out for all to see.
Inspection: U (68 points) (3/17/09)
Re-Inspection: B (80 points) (3/18/09)
The report says chicken, pork and shellfish were at unsafe temperatures. Plus, there was mold in the ice machine and fruit flies in the restaurant.
Help get the word out and retweet this bad boy.

P. Diddy has always sucked!!
April 11th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
I Wouldn’t have expected this from him. He gives that whole “cut the bullshit” look.
I’m not a fan of his, but I would’ve expected a lot better on the Re-Score than a bottom-line B.

He has this I am “top-of-the line and so are the things I do” attitude, but the restaurant he owns is getting abysmal health scores. I’m not a fan of his, but the fact that the food could make people is just scary dangerous!
April 11th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
I meant the fact that the food could make people sick is just scary dangerous!

April 11th, 2009 at 11:48 pm

April 12th, 2009 at 1:32 am
LOL. Having worked in a restaurant the part about mold in the ice box and flies doesn’t surprise me. I’ve worked in three dine in restaurants and they all had mold and fly problems. The part about the meat is what creeps me out though.

As a guy who works and has worked in restaurants for much of his adult life I can say that a 68 is almost unheard off. There is something seriously wrong if a place of business scores that low. A turn around to an 80 in one day is better than most people seem to think. After a week would have been a better time to reinspect and they probably would have been up to code.
The lowest I’ve seen at any restaurant I’ve worked for/with has been a 93. Our bosses reemed us out pretty hard and I can only imagine what the servers and staff had to do on that one day.
April 13th, 2009 at 5:44 pm
ok, that is nasty.. but… you cant blame him… really.. how often do you think he is actually at the restaurant? not very… i mean really,.. he pays people to manage it im sure… and…. i bet there are a lot of restaurants that score low, and you just dont know it…. especially when there are (in “non high class” restaurants) teenagers and 20-somethings getting paid min-wage to cook…
April 13th, 2009 at 5:59 pm
thats what happen when you get bunch of monkeys running the restaurant
April 13th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
Thats some funny shit. Bad-boy 4 life baby. Cant stop. Wont stop. Eh-eh, eh-eh
April 13th, 2009 at 7:45 pm
well in regaurds its not really his fault, he owns the resturant yes, but i am willing to bet he has a team of people his people hired to run the business and i am willing to bet none of them maybe all but one, are not Servesafe qulified. Thus not known whats a good thing and whats not. THey need to hire more Ceritfied Culinarians (sorry for spelling) to run the kitchen, and the resturant as a whole. I know for a fact atlanta is home of one of the biggest Culinary schools state wide. They could just hire the best students and go from there.
April 13th, 2009 at 7:46 pm
I meant nation wide not state.

Ultimately, it’s a hit on his public image because his name is attached, and it wouldn’t surprise me if one or more person lost their job over this. It’s good that the rating improved from a U to a B, but they simply have to do better.
April 13th, 2009 at 11:27 pm
working at a maccas the mold and flies dont surprise me but keeping meat at the right temperature is pretty easy to do. thats not right..
